Steph Curry Leads Warriors with 27 Points in Road Victory

The Golden State Warriors pulled out a hard-fought 123-116 win over the Sacramento Kings in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series on Wednesday night, taking a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.

The Warriors were led by Steph Curry, who scored 27 points and dished out 9 assists. Klay Thompson added 24 points, while Gary Payton II contributed 20 points and 7 rebounds. Domantas Sabonis led the Kings with 22 points and 14 rebounds, while De'Aaron Fox added 21 points and 8 assists.

The Warriors struggled to contain the Kings' hot shooting in the first half, as Keegan Murray hit four 3-pointers in the first quarter to give the Kings an early lead. However, the Warriors defense tightened up in the second half, and they were able to pull away for the win.

The Warriors will now have a chance to close out the series at home in Game 6 on Friday night. The Kings will need to win Game 6 to force a Game 7 back in Sacramento on Sunday.
